Denver

Denver is one of the fastest growing cities situated one mile above sea level and boasting a lifestyle envious to most of the nation. Founded by early settlers whose vitality and individualism dreamed of finding instant wealth is what gave them the fortitude to build a great city. Their pioneering spirtit, appreciation of the geographical beauty, natural resources and the challenge to build a prosperous city, inspired them to forge forward.

The Platte River and Cherry Creek rivers were sources of water and beauty to the early settlers and continue to grace Denver with a serene atmosphere. There are plenty of parks and trees that give Denver plenty of greenspace within its boundaries. Vistas of the mountains abound as well as immediate access to outdoor activities.

Denverites enjoy the central location of being practically situated in the middle of the United States. You can tell both business and travel flourish in the Metro Denver area, based upon the activity level of the Denver International Airport alone.

There are plenty of theater and music performances, museums, shopping, sports, attractions and outdoor activities for cultural and pastime enjoyment. The moderate climate encourages outdoor enthusiasts to bicycle, golf and hike year round.

The housing market in Denver is extremely favorable to those relocating to the area due in part to low interest rates, low unemployment, low inflation and a successful stock market. The median price for a home in the resale market is $150,000.

Aurora

Aurora came into existence in 1891 as a real estate developmnet venture by Donald Fletcher. The original township was four square miles in size and today encompasses 140 square miles. There are approximately 246,000 residents making it the state's third largest city in population.

The Aurora Buckley Air National Guard base is a city landmark that employs approximately ten thousand military and civilian people. Located at the former Lowry Air Force Base is the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum.

Residents here enjoy the abundace of eateries, featuring an array of cuisines, a driving commute of 30 minutes to Denver International Airport, the Denver Tech Center and downtown Denver.

Easy access to reservoirs, parks and golf courses provide Arurorans with plenty of outdoor activity.

Castle Rock

Located midway between Denver and Colorado Springs, Castle Rock is situated in the Plum Creek Valley offering its residents plenty of wide open spaces.

Greenwood Village

Greenwood Village became a home rule city in 1972. Creating the ability to govern itself and establish a parks and recreation department in the same year, Greenwood Village quickly flourished.

Growing from a rural village in Arapahoe County, to a community where big buisness coexists with up-scale living, Greenwood Village still contains plenty of rural acreage.

Littleton

Reflecting lifestyles of Colorado's early settlers, Littleton is known for its three blocks of restored turn-of-the-century downtown buildings. Take a look at what early life in Colorado was, at the Littleton Historical Museums fourteen acre site featuring two working farms.

Littleton is also known for its abounding recreational opportunities. Englewood was originally connected to Denver by a road made by horsedrawn power and ingenuity and became a city in 1903.

Cherry Hills Village

Cherry Hills is a semi-rural town in Arapahoe County that borders Denver County to the north and east, Greenwood Village to the south and Englewood to the west. Known for its rural atmosphere and quality of life, Cherry Hill residents regard zoning and land use as a top priority. There is an extensive trail system that includes both paved and unpaved trails closed to motorized vehicles.

The landscapes in this area of southwest Jefferson County begin to resemble the ridges, valley and terrain of the nearby western foothills. The neighborhoods are mostly unincorporated and prefer to stay that way. Marston Lake rebuffed Denvers attempt at annexation 30 years ago. The high level of ecological consciousness at the edge of the mountains has residents very involved in environmental issues. Morrison

Morrison is a small town nestled behind low mountains with a population of only 550 residents. The city was founded upon its stone quarry and accessibility to supply the city of Denver with stone for construction projects. By 1925, building materials changed and the use of the short railroad service from Morrison to Denver ended. This basically discouraged further growth of Morrison but left behind historic homes and stores representitive of that pioneer spirit.

Today, Morrison is well know for the Red Rocks Ampitheater that draws record crowds for summer performances by the Colorado Symphony and the drag races at Bandimere Speedway.

Some of the most gracious living in the Metro Denver area. Communities like Willow Springs is a community that combines golf-course living with outdoor beauty of the Red Rock Foothills. Lakewood

Lakewood is Colorado's fourth largest city and is located in Jefferson County adjacent to the west of Denver as well as the foothills. Even with close proximity to Denver, a thriving business environment of its own, Lakewood is a quiet and peaceful rural location to live in. Residents here can enjoy the careful planning that has supplied parkways, green belts enhanced by foliage to its residents that have helped to soften the edges between business and residential areas.

Golden

Rich in history as Colorado's first territorial capital and major commercial center for the mountain mining towns, Golden boasts a quality of life that includes plenty of outdoor recreation, historic buildings that house shops, galleries and fine restaurants along Golden's main street.

Also located in Golden is the National Earthquake Center, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the American Alpine Center.

Traveling east to Denver is an easy commute of just 20 minutes. You can find homes in communities like The Village at Mountain Ridge with starting prices of $300,000 to $500,000. North Table Mountain Village features homes staring from the $180,000's to the $210,000's. Wheat Ridge

Wheat Ridge enjoys close proximity to Denver while maintaining its own unique historic image. Shady lined trees, well constructed brick and wood homes and an extensive park system identify Wheat Ridge as a mature city rich in heritage.

Evergreen sits at an altitude of more than 7,000 feet, is situated between Mounat Evans on the south and Lookout Mountain on the north, and is a convenient 35 minutes from downtown Denver.

Conifer Corridor

Conifer Corridor was historically founded as a "wide spot" where three roads intersected and included a place for miners, merchants, and stage coaches to pick up supplies. Originally known as Bradford Junction, the towns of Conifer, Pine Junction and Bailey make up what is know as "The Corridor".

Today, Conifer Corridor is an unicorporated mountain community with an easy thirty minute commute to downtown Denver. Westminster

Incorporated in 1911, Westminster takes its name from Westminster University which operated from 1908 to 1917. Although the university closed its doors, the area continued to grow at a slow pace until the the Boulder Turnpike opened in the 1950's linking Boulder to Denver and therefor stimulating further growth in Westminster.

Westminster is home to one of Adams county's largest employers, Lucent Technologies. Along with over one hundred other high-tech firms, Westminster is part of the high tech corridor that runs along U.S.36.

Broomfield

Broomfield is located in Boulder County, northwest to Denver with easy access to highways 287 and 36. As one of Colorado's first planned communities, Broomfield today features a quiet life-style along with a strong business economy. Louisville

Louisville originally began as a coal mining town with peak years of operation between 1907 to 1909. The last coal mine closed in 1952.

Today, Louisville retains its original charm, which can easily be seen on Main Street and in the values and traditions amongst its residents. Thornton

Located off of I-25, Thornton is just minutes away from Metro Denver. Thornton was first developed in 1953 on a ridge approximately 500 feet above the surrounding area bestowing it with magnificent panaramas of the city, mountains and vistas in the distance.

Commerce City
